SOUTH THAILAND STUDENT’S IDIOLECT OF MALAY LANGUAGE INTO INDONESIAN LANGUAGE
This study aims to describe and analyze South Thailand student’s idiolect of Malay language into Indonesian language who studied at Muhammadiyah University of Tangerang. The data in this study is the formation of new idiolect language in Indonesian language vocabulary terms. This study has two types of data, primary data and secondary data. Primary data in this study are original data obtained by direct interviews. Meanwhile, secondary data in this study are book references related to the object of the research. This study uses a qualitative research. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interview and documentation techniques. The method used in this study is content analysis method. From this research, it was found that the process of South Thailand student’s idiolect of Malay language into Indonesian language in general is a simplification of the language form of morphology, syntax, various phonology, and reduction.
