Abstract

The current research aims to study the mediating role of the learning orientation in the relationship between the dimensions of human capital and organizational innovation (adopting innovation and innovative capabilities) in the Iraqi industrial sector represented by the General Company for Electrical and Electronic Industries in Baghdad, based on the analytical study of a sample of workers in the upper, middle and operational departments In the company, the sample consisted of 262 employees, structural equation modeling was adopted, and the statistical analysis program Stata 16 was used, and the most prominent results were the presence of an impact on the dimensions of human capital in adopting innovation in the researched company, but there is no effect on the level of innovative capabilities, and we recommended the necessity of Work to achieve integration between the dimensions of human capital and make more efforts about learning and encourage learning on advanced technologies, software, machines and modern machines in order to keep pace with developments and continue in the labour market to invest in creativity and production of new products and services or make adjustments to operations in the company.
