Abstract

The arts and cultural industry in Malaysia is instrumental in the country's development economically and socially. The government has been heavily investing in this sector, particularly in the management of the art training institutions. Institutions of this nature are so fundamental in developing artistic skills and talents for the growth of the arts and culture sector. However, their management is often overlooked, thus allowing some serious issues regarding the insufficiency of funding, a lack of skilled personnel, and adequate resources to appear.
