Abstract

In the thermal drilling process friction heat generated between conical tool and workpiece is used to make a hole in sheet metal operation, square metallic tube, circular tube, hard materials, and composite materials. This is a bur free operation with a natural formation bush that will be useful in form threading process and sheet metal operation.
