Abstract

A rapidly shifting economic environment, characterized by phenomena such as globalization and market deregulation, shifting customer and investor needs, and ever-increasing product-market competition, has become the norm for the vast majority of businesses. This economic environment is characterized by the following: They need to continually improve their performance in order to maintain their competitive edge, which includes reducing their costs, developing new goods and processes, as well as enhancing their quality, productivity, and speed to market. In the field of human resources, this is not an excluded possibility. In the year 1950, the phrase "artificial intelligence" was first used. Since 1964, this topic has been the subject of debate in the vast majority of the most prominent management publications. Since the 1960s, people have been predicting that AI will someday take over jobs previously held by humans. On the other hand, it is possible that AI will play a part in the processes that deal with human resources. It is a research approach known as descriptive analysis. 275 samples were collected by the use of approaches that were considered convenient. One individual who specializes in human resources and works in the information technology and business process outsourcing industry in Bangalore makes up the sample. According to the findings of the survey, the vast majority of female respondents hold the opinion that the introduction of AI would have a substantial influence not only on virtually all facets, but in particular on staffing. This is demonstrated by the mean score of 1.7 0.5. The majority of male respondents (1.8, 0.4) share the view that staffing is one of the most important criterion. This is reflected in their mean score. According to the opinions of male respondents, the component with the most influence is performance appraisal, which received a score of 1.60.5. As a consequence of this, strategic consideration should be given to the qualities of the workforce in order to raise the levels of satisfaction experienced by both male and female human resource personnel.
