INVESTIGATING THE CHALLENGES FACING TRANSGENDER PEOPLE AND STRATEGIES
Transgender is a genetic or environmental disorder that causes sexual identity to be compatible with one's apparent gender. Identification of transgender as a kind of sexual identity disorder and its redefinition after gender change by medical specialists, the existence of support agencies in Iran, including the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee and the Welfare Organization to provide services, show the Islamic Republic of Iran's attention to the rights of transgender people. Transgender people are prone to experience of many problems in society; Therefore, raising people's awareness of better understanding and understanding of these people can significantly reduce their damage. There are no legal and religious constraints for transgender in Iran. From a jurisprudential point of view, there are different views on encouraging or rejecting sex change surgery. Gender change surgery can strengthen the spirituality of transgender people.
