Abstract

This study aims to analyze and explain the effect of strategic leadership and strategic planning on employee performance mediated by strategic policies and moderated by technological capabilities. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with data analysis techniques using SmartPLS (Part Lease Square). Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 99 PT Pacto and PT Royalindo. The results show that strategic leadership is proven to be directly able to improve employee performance and strategic planning, but strategic planning cannot improve employee performance. Likewise, strategic policies have improved employee performance and strategic planning but are not related to employee performance. This study also found that strategic planning does not act as mediation in improving performance, but technological capabilities can improve employee performance and strengthen the performance of employees who are driven by the strategic leadership.
