Abstract

Iran and Pakistan, having wide and common borders, have always played an important role in international and regional developments. In 1326/1947, Pakistan was separated from India, an independent country with special laws and policies was formed. Accordingly, this country needed to have allies in the region and the world to strengthen its national security. At the same time, in Iran, the government of Mohammad Reza Shah took measures to strengthen its foreign relations to establish relations with its neighbors. Pakistan was one of these countries that had political, commercial and cultural relations and agreements with each other during the Pahlavi period. This research examines and analyzes the political relationship between the two countries of Iran and Pakistan based on the descriptive-analytical method and the method of collecting library information and based on historical documents. The purpose of this research is to clarify the political relations of these two countries in the field of academic studies.
