Abstract

This qualitative case study sought to examine a group of preschool teachers' professional practicum experiences during the 2021 lockdown in online preschool settings. When a group of 10 preschool instructors switched from face-to-face classrooms to virtual settings, the questionnaire revealed their problems and the pedagogies they employed to overcome them. The research discovered that the academic environments preschool instructors encountered acted as a catalytic agent to help them develop and learn how to utilize platforms using technology they had never used before. The infrastructure that existed in preschools and homes, parental participation, and using the right pedagogies with young students were the main obstacles. Additionally, they had to cope with managing their own emotions and imparting information.
