AGRICULTURAL MEDIA EXPOSURE OF GRADE 12, TRANG EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE, THAILAND

Abstract

This research aims to study the factors affecting agriculture media exposure of Grade 12, Trang Educational Service Area Office, and Thailand. The population is Grade 12 under the Trang School District Office. The academic year 2020 has a total of 3,180 people. The sample group is 355 people. Data analysis by Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis. The results showed that most students are female. 70.10% and male, 29.90% they have Grade Point Average between 2.50-3.00, the most are 58.00%. Father and mother have the most general employment 41.70% and 34.40 %. Families do not have agricultural areas 79.20% and their parents have 10 years of agricultural experience, representing 76.90 % and having less than 9,000 baht of agricultural income per year. Factors are affecting agricultural media exposure of students 1) parents occupation affecting to agricultural media exposure of Grade 12 with a statistical significance of 0.001.2) Parents agricultural experience affecting to agricultural media exposure of Grade 12 with a statistical significance of 0.005. Recommendations: Schools and relevant agencies should organize activities related to agriculture in the school or in the area and allow students to participate in educational activities for students in the school or in the area. Using electronic media such as facebook, youtube, google or various applications that are modern and have content adjusted to be easy to understand and suitable for the age of the students.
