Abstract

This study focuses on examining the Moroccan conflict with the Polisario over Western Sahara, in the absence of a settlement and commitment to a ceasefire. The study proposes a draft peace agreement between Morocco and the Polisario, especially after 50 years of conflict and 8 years of proposals without reaching a political solution that satisfies the parties. By using a descriptive-analytical approach with models and methodological tools, the conflict was analyzed from different perspectives. What the study presents is the result of the optimal solution for resolving the conflict, which is expanded autonomy, and reaching a common ground that eliminates or reduces the disparities between the conflicting parties.
