Abstract

The establishment of BUM Desa is expected to be one of the efforts to increase village and community income. Therefore, the government is expected to be able to implement a new approach to drive the economy in the village. The method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Conclusions: The implementation of the institutional strengthening model by BUM Desa in Ciamis Regency has not been fully effective, related to BUM Desa compliance which is less developed in planning, controlling, monitoring and coordinating; The factors that weaken the BUM Desa in Ciamis Regency include the system for preparing the BUM Desa framework that has not fully clarified the roles of each implementer. Furthermore, regarding the organization, efforts to unite various partial goals into one common goal have not been fully implemented, and so far the implementation of cooperation between business units and across villages has not been effective, especially the efforts to draft the AD/ART used. Found a model that can be used effectively to strengthen BUM Desa in Ciamis Regency, it can be said as a model that refers to: System, Organization and Individual
