A STUDY ON THE INFLUENCE OF PERSONALITY TRAIT, PERCEPTIBLE BEHAVIOUR AND EMPOWERMENT FACTORS ON THE PRUDENCY OF INVESTMENT DECISIONS
Purpose: The main objective of this study is to understand the influence of individual investor’s personality traits, perceptible behaviour and driving factors on the prudential investment decisions. Design/Method: An exploratory and descriptive research. The quantitative approach of the study uses a survey method by taking samples from the population. The questionnaires were distributed to conduct the survey. Primary data in the form of assessments or perceptions of respondents are collected from 105 samples. Quantitative data analysis was performed using SPSS and structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to answer the hypothesis of the study. Finding: Personality trait of an individual is influential in the evident behaviour and evident behaviour is strongly influencing the driving/empowering factors. The prudential investment decisions of an individual investor are remarkably influenced by the enabling factors that push ahead towards attainment of specific goal.
