Abstract

The insurance industry is one of the biggest service sectors worldwide and has close interdependencies with other service sectors. However, insurance fraud is the most serious problem threatening the feasibility of insurance companies across the globe This paper deals with the academic perspectives on the broad theme of insurance fraud. This paper aimed to identification of the conceptual, social, and intellectual evolution and structure of the topic of life insurance fraud. This article covers thematic research on insurance frauds in the world, India and the regional scenario.
