Abstract

Objective– This paper aims to systematically review existing studies on digital talent development in organizations to suggest opportunities for future research in this area. This study used the PRISMA (Preffered Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses) method. This study classifies the results of previous research related to the role and position of digital talent in digital transformation in corporations (organizations), both empirical and theoretical analysis. There were 12 empirical and theoretical papers sourced from searches on ProQuest related to Digital Talent Development. The results of the research obtained information for practitioners and enthusiasts of Human Capital regarding the trend of Digital Talent Development and can serve as a guide for further research related to digital talent and digital transformation in organizations. This paper presents a critical review of existing research on the role of digital talent in digital transformation and suggests new variables, measurements, analytical methods and new problems for researchers in this field. Thus, this paper identifies gaps in the literature that still require further empirical investigation and appropriate ways to close them. And new problems for researchers in this field.
