Abstract

Obviously, the fast development of network generations has become attractive to people’s eyes nowadays. In addition, the need for security has increased with this tremendous change of network development. Many challenges exist in 4G and 5G networks which require to be solved. This paper addresses the security issues from different perspectives for the two latest network generations and comparing them to find the weaknesses and strengths of these two generations. The comparing factors based on Attacks, Availability, Authentication, Confidentiality and Privacy.
