AN ANALYSIS OF THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION THROUGH A DIGITAL-BASED MANAGEMENT SERVICE SYSTEM IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLS IN THE NORTH GORONTALO DISTRICT
The objective of this study was to examine the efficacy of digital-based management service systems in
enhancing the quality of education management in North Gorontalo Regency Junior High School. This study
employs a descriptive qualitative research approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and
document analysis. The findings indicate that digital-based management services at North Gorontalo Regency
Junior High School are commendable, particularly at SMPN 1 Kwandang and SMPN 2 Kwandang. The digital
based services at SMPN 1 Kwandang are exemplified by the online registration system, which eliminates the
necessity for parents to queue to register their children. Furthermore, SMPN 1 Kwandang has a school website,
which provides parents with convenient access to school-related information. The digital-based services at
SMPN 2 Kwandang are exemplified by the Go Paperless School Innovation Program, which was initiated by the
Regent of North Gorontalo Regency. The program is still operational and is utilized primarily for the
administration of examinations. In the event that a student lacks the requisite technological resources, the school
provides tablets that can be borrowed for the duration of the examination. Conversely, digital-based
management services at SMPN 3 Anggrek are still in their infancy. The service system in this school is still in a
developmental phase due to the school's relatively recent establishment. The school's remote location from the
city center also impedes the implementation of digital-based service systems due to the constrained internet
network.
