THE ROLE OF JOB SATISFACTION IN MEDIATION THE INFLUENCE OF MOTIVATION AND WORK ENVIRONMENT ON MEMBER PERFORMANCE AT THE DIRECTORATE OF POLDA AIR POLDA BALI IN DENPASAR

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation and environment on performance both directly and indirectly and to determine the role of job satisfaction in mediating the influence of motivation and work environment on performance. The number of respondents as many as 134 people who were determined by the Slovin method and taken by the purposive random sampling method. The collected data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) model using the SMARTPLS 3.0 method. The results of the analysis show that; Motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of members at the Directorate of Water Polda Bali Police in Denpasar. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of members of the Directorate of Water Polda Bali Police in Denpasar. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at the Directorate of Water Polda Bali Police in Denpasar. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at the Directorate of Water Polda Bali Police in Denpasar. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on the performance of members of the Directorate of Water Polda Bali Police in Denpasar. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of members through job satisfaction at the Directorate of Water Polda Bali Police in Denpasar. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of members through job satisfaction at the Directorate of Water Polda Bali Police in Denpasar.
