Abstract

The problem of Indian women's access to educational opportunities is investigated in this study. This paper provides a look at the current condition of education with regard to women and emphasises some of the problems that need to be addressed. It does so by drawing on previous research and a variety of data affecting women's education as well as obstacles in the way of women's education. Following an examination of newly arising problems, many the following are some proposals and considerations in terms of interventions at the national level: strategic activities and a policy framework that will enable these initiatives, with the goal of boosting women's access to education.
