Abstract

William Carlos Williams is an eminent American poet and he has focused upon various themes of life in his poetry. He is a keen observer of the happening of the world. This study aims at analysis of his poems “Broadway” and “Dedication for a Plot of Ground” so as to bring out the distress experienced by two women due to the displacement.
