Abstract

The article is devoted to the development of international tourism in Azerbaijan. The article analyzes the main indicators of Azerbaijan's foreign economic activity for 2006-2021 and determines the role and place of international tourism in it. Despite the high growth rates of receipts and payments, the balance of tourism services has a negative balance for the entire study period from 2006 to 2021. This indicates the excess of outbound tourism over inbound tourism.
