THE ROLE OF HYBRID AND COMMUNITY-ORIENTED POLICING IN THE FUTURE MANAGEMENT OF CYBERCRIME IN INDONESIA: LESSON THROUGH COMPARISON
The purpose of this research is to determine the implementation of hybrid policing models into combating cybercrime in Indonesia. Research utilises qualitative approach while descriptively illustrating the problem and its analysis which is systematically constructed around the comparative study on cybercrime policing problem from best-practice countries such as the United Kingdom (UK), United States of America (US), and Netherland. The improvements can be divided into five major parts, namely a blended model for the public–private provision of policing, strategic cyber security management and the stakeholder approach, lessons from successes in partnership: working through collaboration, community-oriented policing enforcement and management and lastly,establishing better partnership between academics and police.
